As a founding member of OhioBrass, newbb电子平台’s faculty-artist brass quintet in residence, he has toured nationally and also performed at the 音乐 Teachers National Convention and the Ohio 音乐 Educators Association Conference. Dr. Smith is also a member of OU's faculty low brass trio, 3BASSO, along with faculty Dr. Lucas Rego Borges and Dr. Joseph Brown (trombones).
